Object security by Kilic Security

Object security that actually knows your site

An empty office at night. A distribution centre full of stock. A reception where people come and go all day. Object security puts someone there who knows what they're doing, spots what's out of place, and knows when to step in.

With us you get a small fixed team for your location and one point of contact who knows your building and your people. Short lines, a roster that fits, and reports you can scan back through without searching.

The same officer, week in and week out

Rotating crews see less. We assign a small fixed team to your site, so the same people keep coming back. They know your staff, know which doors should always be locked, and spot unusual behaviour faster than someone there for the first time.

What is object security?

Object security is the protection of one specific building or site against break-ins, theft, vandalism and unwanted visitors. Someone watches who comes in, walks rounds, monitors the cameras and steps in when something is off.

In practice it's usually a combination: a fixed guard on site, mobile patrols outside office hours, and alarm response when something goes off at night. You pick what fits your building and risk, and we set it up.

What does an object security officer do?

An object security officer is the eyes and ears of your location. A lot of the work is preventive: being present, noticing what happens, and keeping things from getting out of hand. A typical shift includes:

  • Welcoming and registering visitors at reception
  • Opening and closing the building, doing closing and fire rounds
  • Evening and overnight surveillance
  • Alarm response after a break-in or fire alert
  • Checking windows, doors and installations
  • Watching cameras together with the control room
  • First aid and emergency response when something happens
  • Logging every detail digitally for you

If nothing happens, that's exactly what you're paying for. A good day is a quiet day.

Who object security works for

Object security fits almost any commercial or public building. Most of our requests come from:

  • Offices and multi-tenant business centres
  • Distribution centres, warehouses and logistics
  • Production and industrial sites
  • Retail, shops and shopping centres
  • Healthcare, hospitals and mental-health facilities
  • Education and government
  • Construction sites and temporary locations
  • Museums, libraries and cultural venues

Working in retail, on a construction site or running an event? Our pages on retail security, construction security and event security are more specific to those situations.

Ways to deploy object security

There are three ways we deploy object security. Most setups are a mix, depending on when your risk actually sits.

  • Fixed on-site post: someone permanently present, ideal for offices, healthcare and distribution centres with day or night staffing.
  • Mobile patrols: a guard drives rounds past your site, checks closures and responds to anomalies. Cost-effective across multiple sites or for the hours when nobody is in the office.
  • Alarm response: when an alert comes in, we're on site 24/7 to see what's going on. For urgent calls, within 1 hour.

Object security vs. patrols vs. cameras

Many clients are stuck between a fixed guard, mobile patrols or cameras only. The choice depends on what you want to prevent and what you want to spend.

In practice we combine these. A fixed guard during the day, mobile patrols at night and cameras with control-room support as the closing layer usually gives the best balance between safety and cost.

What does object security cost?

There's no single hourly rate we can honestly quote here. The price depends on:

  • Hours per week and which time blocks (nights, weekends and public holidays count differently)
  • The risk profile of your location and sector
  • Deployment type: fixed post, mobile rounds or alarm response only
  • Any extra requirements: emergency response, first aid, dog handler or additional screening
  • Contract length and how flexible it needs to be

After a short intake you receive a tailored, no-obligation quote. For standard cases within 1 working day, for urgent requests within 24 hours.
