Construction site security with one point of control

A construction site is an open, constantly changing environment where dozens of workers, subcontractors and suppliers move across the site every day. Tools, materials, machinery and copper are prime targets for theft and vandalism. The risk peaks outside working hours, at weekends and during holiday shutdowns: less supervision, less lighting and a site that looks easy to walk onto. A single incident can push the schedule back by weeks and land straight on your client's desk.

Kilic Security is a Dutch security company specialised in construction sites, infrastructure projects and renovation programmes. We work with main contractors and developers across the Netherlands, from Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Utrecht to regional infrastructure works. We provide certified officers with a valid security ID, mobile patrols, temporary CCTV with mobile camera towers and access registration for personnel and suppliers. One dedicated point of contact across all your sites, available 24/7 through on-call duty. Nationwide coverage, also at night and at weekends.

Everyone on site is on the record

Every worker, self-employed trade, subcontractor and supplier is registered at the site cabin, checked on ID and PPE and logged digitally. Access via fixed or temporary systems (badge, QR or gate control) is fully traceable per person, timestamp and zone. That plugs straight into your HSE plan and chain liability obligations, so you can show at any moment who was on site.

Why construction sites need specialist security

On a construction site the main contractor, subcontractors, self-employed trades and suppliers all work side by side on the same ground. The layout shifts every week: fencing moves, staging areas change, containers relocate. That makes it hard to tell who belongs on site and who just walks in. Theft of tools, copper and fuel, vandalism and unauthorised access are the most common losses, and the peak moments fall exactly when nobody is on site.

Construction site security therefore takes more than a camera on a mast. It takes an officer who knows the site, who knows which subcontractor is working that week, who controls access at the site cabin and runs the rounds after hours. And it takes a setup that flexes with the phase of your project: intensive during groundworks and handover, lighter during fit-out. Kilic Security delivers that mix: fixed teams, mobile patrols and temporary CCTV, coordinated from one point of control.

The human link on a dynamic site

CCTV, mobile camera towers and floodlighting only pay off when someone responds to the alerts. Our on-site officer is that link: verifying visitors and deliveries at the site cabin, keeping eyes on the site routes, running rounds outside working hours and escalating to the control room, police or your site manager the moment something falls outside protocol. That is how the build keeps running.

Daily practice on the construction site

A shift starts with the handover: open incidents, planned deliveries, who is expected on site that day. Then the post runs: access control and visitor registration at the site cabin, issuing temporary passes, checking PPE and the first round of storage areas, plant and the perimeter. Between rounds the access point stays staffed, because most incidents are not break-ins but a supplier in the wrong place or a self-employed trade trying to walk on without sign-in.

Rounds, visitors and incidents are logged digitally. When an alarm comes in (an intrusion alert from a mobile camera tower, fire, unauthorised access or a suspicious situation) the officer verifies the alert, calls in police, fire brigade or your site manager and keeps the situation under control until the right party takes over. The next morning a clear incident report lands on your project lead's desk. All you notice is that the build keeps running.

Aligned with your main contractor, HSE plan and schedule

Construction site security never stands alone. You work with a main contractor, an HSE plan, a tight schedule and multiple subcontractors moving on and off site. We align with all of that: a short on-site intake, a written security plan matched to your project phase and a fixed escalation protocol with your site manager and control room. Everyone (officer, site manager, subcontractor, control room) knows who does what, also at three in the morning.

One point of control, also across multiple sites

We scale with your project: intensive during groundworks, structural works and handover, lighter during quieter phases. Running multiple construction sites at the same time? Kilic Security keeps control in one hand: one dedicated point of contact, one reporting line and one set of procedures across all your projects, with an on-call duty available 24/7.
