Critical sites such as utilities, water works, energy and distribution nodes, logistics hubs and sensitive production locations need security that goes further than a routine patrol. Why critical sites need a different class of security

For critical infrastructure, continuity is the starting point, not the goal. The clock starts ticking from the first minute of a disruption: operations must keep running, liability is high and every deviation gets measured. Theft and vandalism are not the only risks; unauthorised access, sabotage, insider risk and mistakes by third parties during maintenance can be just as disruptive. Standard guarding does not cover that gap: it takes fixed teams that know your site, your zones and your processes.

CCTV covers the perimeter and critical zones, and every detection is followed up immediately by our control room and the officer on site. Access control makes sure only authorised personnel reach the right zones and that every movement is traceable.

Cameras, access systems and detection only deliver when someone responds. Our on-site officer is that link: verifying visitors and suppliers, keeping eyes on critical zones, checking work permits for external maintenance parties and escalating to the control room, your duty manager or emergency services the moment anything falls outside protocol.

Daily operation on site

A shift starts with the handover: open incidents, scheduled maintenance parties, expected deliveries and visitors for that day. Then the post runs: access control and registration at the entrance, issuing temporary passes, checking work permits and PPE, and the first round of perimeter, technical rooms and risk zones. Between rounds the post stays staffed, because most incidents are not break-ins but a supplier in the wrong place or an external engineer trying to walk on without sign-in.

Rounds, visitors and incidents are logged digitally and traceably. When an alarm comes in (a camera detection, a forced door or gate, a fire alert or a suspicious situation) the officer verifies the alert, calls in emergency services or your duty manager and keeps the situation under control until the right party takes over. The next morning a clear report lands with your security or facilities lead.

Technology that reinforces the on-site team

On a critical site, CCTV is not a standalone system but an extension of the team. Kilic Security designs, installs and manages camera systems for perimeter, entrances, technical rooms and risk zones, with smart detection and 24/7 live monitoring from our control room. When a detection comes in, the control room reviews the footage, briefs the officer on site and dispatches mobile patrol or emergency services in parallel. Every alert turns into action within minutes.
