In logistics the risks sit in different places than in an office or production plant. The biggest exposure is at the docks: short load and unload windows, many drivers you have never met, temporary staff walking between trailers and pallets briefly unattended on the floor. Theft from trailers, pallet swaps, unauthorised entry through an open dock door and internal losses all come together right there. And most of it happens during the day, in the middle of the operation, not at night.
