CCTV monitoring and video surveillance by Kilic Security

Video surveillance with people behind the screens

A camera without follow-up is just a recorder. You see afterwards what happened, but nobody steps in during the incident itself. CCTV monitoring only really works when someone watches live and can act. We combine video surveillance with our own control room operators and mobile patrols, so an alert never stops at a beep in the night.

You get the full picture: advice on camera plan and positioning, installation by certified technicians, 24/7 live viewing and immediate response on site when something is off. GDPR-proof from day one, with a fixed contact and reports you can read back without searching.

24/7 live viewing by our operators

Your footage does not sit in an archive, it reaches a person who watches 24/7. On an alert there is verification within seconds: is this a cat, a colleague or someone who should not be there? Only then do we escalate. You keep sight of what matters and avoid false alarms.

What is CCTV monitoring?

CCTV monitoring is the structural watching of a building, site or public space with security cameras. The goal: prevent incidents, spot suspicious situations early and provide evidence afterwards if something happens anyway. Video surveillance is the wider service around it: advice, camera plan, installation, live viewing and response.

In practice CCTV monitoring is used at business premises, construction sites, retail, distribution centres, car parks and residential complexes. Usually combined with a fixed officer or mobile patrol, so an alert is not only seen but also followed up.

Our video surveillance services

Video surveillance is a service for us, not a box of hardware. We take the full track off your plate:

  • Advice and camera plan: risk analysis, coverage and correct positions for every camera
  • Installation and configuration by certified technicians
  • 24/7 live viewing from a certified control room
  • Alarm response: mobile officer on site within 1 hour for urgent alerts
  • Temporary CCTV monitoring with mobile towers for construction sites and events
  • Maintenance, updates and yearly system checks

You choose which parts you want. Live viewing on your existing system is possible, as well as a complete new camera system including follow-up.

Live viewing and alarm response

The difference between cameras that record and video surveillance that prevents, sits in what happens after the alert. With us alerts land in a certified control room manned 24/7. Our operator:

  • Verifies the footage within seconds
  • Speaks to people on site through intercom or speaker if possible
  • Dispatches a mobile officer for verified suspicious situations
  • Alerts police, fire brigade or your keyholder when needed
  • Delivers a full report with footage and actions the next morning

You keep sight of what happens and someone actually acts on it. Nights, weekends and public holidays included.

CCTV monitoring and the GDPR

Video surveillance is allowed, provided you follow the rules set by the Dutch Data Protection Authority. We make sure your setup meets them:

  • Clear signage at every entrance so visitors know CCTV monitoring is in place
  • Notification duties and processing register in order
  • Retention period of maximum 4 weeks, unless an incident is recorded
  • Cameras aimed at your own property, not at public roads or neighbours
  • Access to footage limited to authorised staff, with logging

In doubt about where you may place cameras or how long you may keep footage? We check with you, so you avoid a complaint and fine after the fact.

CCTV monitoring by sector

Every location has its own risk profile. We tailor the camera plan and follow-up accordingly:

  • Construction sites: mobile CCTV towers against theft of equipment and copper
  • Offices and commercial buildings: access control, closing rounds and remote night watch
  • Retail and shopping centres: till and shop floor coverage, combined with retail surveillance
  • Logistics and distribution centres: loading docks, outdoor terrain and perimeter fencing
  • Residential complexes and homeowner associations: entrance, parking and common areas
  • Events: temporary CCTV on entrances, parking and stage areas

In retail, on a construction site or organising an event? Our pages on retail surveillance and security, construction security and event security describe what is specific per sector.

Kilic video surveillance vs. a stand-alone installer

Many companies buy a camera system from an installer and skip the follow-up. On paper this saves money, in practice it costs you the very coverage you put the cameras up for.

What does video surveillance cost?

An honest quote without knowing your situation is impossible. The price for video surveillance depends on:

  • Number and type of cameras (fixed, PTZ, thermal, ANPR)
  • Live viewing on or off, and during which time slots
  • On-site alarm response or verification and notification only
  • Temporary (construction, event) or permanent installation
  • Maintenance, footage storage and integration with existing systems

After a short intake you get a no-strings quote. In case of urgency within 24 hours.
